How To Recover Or Download Files From Backups
1. In your cPanel account, navigate to, and click on the “Acronis Backup” found under the files section of the dashboard.

2. Click on the backup date that you wish to restore and then click on “Files”, which will list the files and directories.


3. Select the files or files and they will be available to recover or download.

- If you select “Recover,” the files you select will be restored to the same location they were backed up from.
- By selecting “Download,” you will download the files onto your local computer.
How To Recover Or Download Databases From Backups
If you need to recover databases from old backups using the Acronis Backup Module, please follow these steps:
1. In your cPanel account, navigate to, and click on the “Acronis Backup”.
2. Click on the backup date that you wish to restore, click on “Database”, which will then list the available files.
3. Choose the files by checking the boxes and you will be able to recover, or download the files.


- “Recover” will restore files to the same location, unless you check the suffix and add a suffix name.
- “Download” will download the files to your local computer.
Recovering Databases As New Ones
1. In your cPanel account, navigate to, and click on the “Acronis Backup” in the files section of the dashboard.
2. Click on “Acronis Backup” to view the list of available backup dates, next click on the backup date you wish to restore from.
3. Next click on “Files” and the list of files and directories, available on that date, will appear.
4. Select the files you wish to recover, check mark the suffix and add the suffix name to create a new database.
